Henley and Sonning
I had a gorgeous sunny day for this 19 mile cycle ride. Mainly on road with a couple of sections of bridleway. Another bacon roll - this time at the café in Mill Meadows.

Checkendon Sculptures
2 1/2 Mile Walk Footpaths are easy to follow. An on-road section on a quiet lane. Parking: Checkendon Church (small public car park). Coordinates 51.542006, -1.044476 Bus: The Southern tip of the route is about half a mile from Woodcote on the X40 route - check Thames Travel website. At the southern tip of the route is the 'Nuba Survival'. A striking, greater than life size, sculpture of 2 skeletons embracing. It stands by a collapsed barn in a field. There is no signage - just walk up the edge of the field.
